Remember You Are Not Alone, Brockley Cross 2025
A billboard featuring the character Fluffy Pulcino sitting on the stairs of a disused launderette was situated opposite the launderette itself. The idea was to create a drawing that spoke directly to the hearts of local people who walked past the ordinary building everyday. The hope was that the noise of billboard advertising could be transformed into a public art space with imagery and message designed to uplift and give a sense of belonging in the community. Residents were invited to view an exhibition in a pop up gallery on the same street.

The exhibition included drawings with Fluffy Pulcino in the local area and some artwork from the graphic novel How to Make Life Better When it Feels Like it's Getting Worse. The character Fluffy Pulcino also made his own paintings for the exhibition.
